Get ChanSort

ChanSort is a Windows application who confers you to reorder your TV's channel list. Most modern TVs can transfer channel sets via USB stick, those you has the opportunity to plug into your WORKSTATION PC. ChanSort supports various file formats from Philips (new), Panasonic (new), ITT, Medion, Nabo, ok., PEAQ, Schaub-Lorenz, Silva-Schneider, Telefunken (new), Hisense, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Toshiba and the Linux VDR project.

Features

• Reorder channels (change numbers unequivocally, move up/down, drag&drop, double-click).
• Use another channel list as though a reference to apply the same ordering.
• Multi-selection for editing multiple conveyors near once.
• Side-by-side picture of new/sorted list and original/complete guide (similar to playlist and library).
• Rename or delete channels.
• Manage most-liked, parental hitch, routeway skipping past (when zapping), channel hiding.
• User platform via English, German and not entirely in Turkish and Portuguese.
• Unicode character support for channel names (Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, ...).

Some features it's likely not be affordable on all TV models and channel types (analog, digital, sat, cable, ...)

Most of this architecture was written without reinforcement from TV craftsmen or else attainment to any official account about our file formats. It seems solely based onto analysing existing material files, trial inclusive of inaccuracy. There is a potential of unwanted side-effects or likewise mutilation to your BROADCAST DEVICE, as though explained via 2 cases.

Hisense is the only manufacturer who provided technical information and a test device.

System requirements

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (Full): included by Win8, required for Win7, Vista and XP SP3.
• Microsoft Seeing C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86): required to transform SQLite lists (Hisense, Panasonic, Toshiba and Samsung .zip format).
• USB stick/SD-card by transfer the network list between your TV and PC (FAT32 file grid recommended).
• Some LG representations obligate notable special service remote control to access both import/export functions (see Glossary for details).

Hisense

2016 "Smart" models with a channel.db file, i.e. H65M55002017 models with a servicelist.db fileSpecial thanks to Hisense for supporting ChanSort among technical information and a test device!

Samsung

.scm files: B (2009)*, B (2013), C, D, E, F, HI, J series.zip files: WHAT’S UP, J, K, MORAL, N and Q, R seriesLists: Gale analog, Air screen-based, Cable analog, Filament digital, Hose Prime, Sat digital, Astra HD+, Freesat, TivuSat, Canal Digital Bedded, Digital+, Cyfra+

*: The "clone.bin" format is not supported. In the "*.scm" composition the "Air Analog"-list due to the 2009 B-series doesn't funding all editing features due to a lack of test files. If anyone have such a file, please ship it to me.

LG

Series: CS, DM, OUR, LB*, LD, LE, LF, LH, LK, LM+, LN, LP#, LS, LT, LV, LW, LX, PM, RENDERING, PT, UB*and all newer models using the GlobalClone.TLL formatLists: Analog TV, DTV (DVB-C, DVB-T), Radio (DVB-C/T), Sat-DTV (DVB-S2), Sat-Radio (DVB-S2)

*: Some devices behave erroneously caused by among firmware issues.+: Survey system requirements for LM-series. xxLM640T is not supported due to its firmware limitations.#: Only satellite channels supported.

Other models presumably also assignment, but have not acted experimented. If you have selected .TLL file of a series not described here, please issue the point to me.

Panasonic

Viera samples with an svl.bin or svl.db channel list (most models owing to the fact that 2011)

Sony

Android-TVs "sdb.xml" files using formats "FormateVer" 1.1.0 and KDL 2012/2014 manuscripts using "FormatVer" 1.0.0, 1.1.0 equally 1.2.0

Toshiba

Models it export a .zip file possessing chmgt.db, dvbSysData.db and dvbMainData.db files.(e.g. RL, SL, TL, UL, VL, WL, XL, YL models consisting of series 8xx/9xx)

ITT, Medion, Nabo, ok., PEAQ, Schaub-Lorenz, Silva-Schneider, Telefunken

These services refer to .sdx files (currently only satellite lists operate supported)

Philips

Philips handles countless incompatible memorandum formats for various TV models. ChanSort currently supports 2 different versions of .xml files, other formats are free from supported.

VDR (Linux Video Disc Recorder)

Supports the channels.conf file format.Implementation for this was provided by TCr82 from the VDR project.
