  • ed_attfield Shared 2017-03-29 I've remained running the ncidd with a Trendnet USB modem on this alway-on Ubuntu desktop for a bit increased quantity than a year. We're running a home business, so the collective's land line is advertised on a couple of web sites and presumably equally popular with telemarketers and scammers. (Recently the log showed 4 real calls underneath the latest 20.) Now the phone rings once, ncidd catches aspect, makes an announcement and hangs up. We'll get up for the purpose of answer it on the second ring. The android app helps us me see who is calling in preparation for I get up from the couch, and THIS CORRESPONDENT can look the number heighten and block the fact hailing from any den in the house. THIS ENTITY import additional blacklist numbers with the FCC2ncid tool. I whitelist as for me friends' cell phones so that their name shows up underneath the android application.

The NCID is great, I can block any number and shall also look-up any numbers to see if they are Cold call etc, an Europe one as in Montmartre’s Land, many bigger features, can't praise it enough.
  • mstember Posted 2014-11-28 Exceedingly cool to be good to block annoying callers. The enthusiast support here is superior to prevalent paid applications. The only significant difficulty comes from his fact Wi-Fi routers are all over the place with congruence.
  • richard-on-sf Posted 2014-09-20 Zooming this network node across a Raspberry Pi. It's wonderful. Love the blacklist feature. Excellent support too. Roule le serveur sur un Raspberry Pi. C'est génial. Adore la liste d'exclusion. Le support est en plus excellent. Keep up your great job John and thank you.
